About Me

I am a writer and editor with over 18 years of experience, 11+ of them freelance. My career has taken me from management consulting to academia to copy writing. I’ve also been a teacher, university instructor, and trainer; a grants submission coördinator; and most recently, an editorial manager. All of these experiences have given me a unique set of analytical and communication skills. I am an adept collaborator, used to working with contributors who have a broad range of experiences and competencies; I’ve been called a “force of nature” in the classroom; and I assimilate information and acclimate myself to new contexts very quickly.

Outside of work, I volunteer with my son’s school, read anything with text, and try to stay in shape and find an outlet for my competitive energy (at the moment, by signing up for tennis lessons).
